Farm Fresh Farmer's Market Is Open for The Summer
We are so happy to have the Farm Fresh Broad St. Market open every Saturday from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon at the Algonquin House, 807 Broad St, from June 11 through October 29, 2022. If you've never been we highly recommend it, and if you have visited in the past, then stop by and meet up with some of our familiar neighborhood farmers.
This past Saturday they even had representatives from the "Providence Student Union' distributing information about their organization and mission to "build student power so young people can improve their education and well-being". Have a look at and follow their social media if you can, Facebook Twitter and Instagram
Good To Know
Beginning this fall and through next spring, road safety improvements will be installed on Broad Street between Trinity Square and Roger Williams Park (Hayward Street to Hawthorne Avenue), including: repaving; improvements to wheelchair ramps, crosswalks, and bus stops; and bike lanes. There will still be on-street parking on both sides of the street for all of Broad Street, except the western (cemetery side) of Broad Street next to Grace Church Cemetery.
